Fermor & Co, a proprietorship of Kushal Bansal ("FERMOR", "we"), runs https://fermor.co.in. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws.

1. What we collect

•      Your name, phone number and email address.

•      Your delivery and billing address.

•      Your order details and payment status. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment gateway partners; we do not store them.

•      Messages you send us (email, WhatsApp, calls).

•      Device and usage information (pages viewed, browser, approximate location) collected through cookies and similar tools.

2. Why we use it

•      To take, confirm, pack and deliver your order, and to take payment.

•      To send order updates by SMS, email or WhatsApp, and to confirm Partial COD orders.

•      To answer your questions and handle returns and refunds.

•      To keep tax and accounting records as the law requires.

•      To understand how the website is used and to improve it.

•      To show you and measure our advertising, only where the law allows and with your consent where needed.

3. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to count visits, understand how pages are used and measure advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics and Meta advertising through their own settings. Some features may not work if you block all cookies.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with: our payment gateway partners; our courier partners (your name, phone and delivery address); messaging and email service providers; our website platform provider; analytics and advertising platforms; and authorities when the law requires. We do not sell your personal information.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal requirements, including tax and accounting laws. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

6. Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information. No method of transfer or storage is completely secure.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent for marketing messages. Write to grievance@fermor.co.in. We will reply within the time the law allows.

8. Children

Our website is for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Links to other websites

Other websites that we link to have their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for them.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
